Shop Fire - Chester Hill

Just after 3:30pm, Fire and Rescue NSW received numerous Triple Zero (000) calls reporting a fire in a shop on Chester Hill Road, Chester Hill.
Multiple Fire Stations from Western Sydney responded the incident and on investigation found a fire in the exhaust of a chicken shop.
Firefighters worked quickly to control the blaze, using an aerial platform to extinguish the fire from the roof and prevent it from spreading to nearby properties.
One woman was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for smoke inhalation and burns.
Traffic in the area is affected as emergency services continue to render the scene safe. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
