House Fire - Claymore

Just after 4:00am this morning Fire and Rescue NSW received multiple Triple Zero (000) calls to a House Fire on Leigh Cr in Claymore
On arrival Fire crews found a single story House with smoke and flames issuing.
It was an intense fire with a huge fuel load inside the premises. The lounge and dining rooms were severely damaged by the fire with smoke and heat damaged to the remaining.
No one was home at the time of the fire. Police and Fire Investigation Teams are still on scene investigating the cause.
Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said FRNSW is attending numerous house fires and that it was a timely reminder for residents to develop their fire escape plan.
"Now is the time for residents to check they have a working smoke alarm and that all members of the family have an awareness of calling Triple Zero (000) in an emergency," he said.
