Quarantine Station Bushfire - North Head (Manly)

Fire and Rescue NSW received multiple Triple Zero (000) calls to reports of a bushfire last night on North Head, Manly.
First arriving crews reported a bushfire in deep terrain that was difficult to access and upgraded the incident requiring more crews including assistance from NSWRFS. Up to 10 trucks were committed to the scene.
Crews remained deployed overnight to surround the blaze and protect the heritage buildings of the Quarantine station.
Approximately 3:15am the fire was confirmed extinguished and all crews departed.
