House Fire - Cobar

Just before 8am, a Fire and Rescue NSW crew from Cobar Fire Station responded to an alert of house fire on Yarran Circuit, Cobar after a call to Triple Zero (000) alerted the incident.

Firefighters arrived to find residents had self evacuated after their smoke alarm alerted them of the fire. Occupants were able to extinguish a small fire in the laundry.

Crews ensured the fire was extinguished, checked for extension and ventilated the laundry before rendering the area safe.

Two occupants have been treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by NSW Ambulance.

NSW Police were also in attendance.
