Large Fuel Spillage - Neutral Bay

Fire and Rescue NSW crews are liaising with RMS and local council to clean up the a large diesel spill from a bus over Wycombe Rd in Neutral Bay.
Crews will work to prevent and fuel entering the drains and then to make the roadway safe for regular vehicle traffic.
Use caution if driving in the area and avoid if possible.
Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) has urged the public to stay out of harm this winter by following these simple safety steps when using your dryer:
• Clean your lint filter before each use.
• Never leave the dryer operating when you leave the house or
when sleeping.
• Ensure there is adequate air flow around your dryer.
A fire can take hold in minutes, yet it only takes seconds to prevent one. Take action to stay out of harm this winter.
