House Fire - Ambarvale

Fire investigators from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) are currently on scene at a home on Crispsparkle Avenue, Ambarvale following a large house fire that broke out just after 3.30am this morning.
FRNSW were alerted to the fire from numerous Triple Zero (000) callers and arrived on scene to find a single level home well allight. More than 20 firefighters battled the blaze for a number of hours, extinguishing it just before 5.30am.
Five residents were home at the time of the fire however managed to safely evacuate.
Fire investigators and their Ignitable Liquid Detection Dogs are currently on scene to determined the cause of the fire.
With Fire and Rescue NSW crews attending multiple house fires this week, Superintendent Scott Dodson said it was a timely reminder for residents to develop their fire escape plan.
"Now is the time for residents to check they have a working smoke alarm and that all members of the family have an awareness of calling Triple Zero (000) in an emergency" he said.
