New payment system coming 11 May 2026

Published: 22 April 2026
Effective from 11 May 2026, a new secure online payment system is being introduced which will streamline the application process. Currently, stakeholders are required to wait up to four (4) business days after making payment before submitting an application. This will no longer be the case under the new system.

All applicants will still be required to access the “pay upfront fee” link on our website. This link will redirect you to a Customer Payment Platform (CPP) where a secure online payment can be made and confirmation received immediately. Through the CPP, you will be able to:

  • Create a new assessment invoice
  • Pay the relevant invoice
  • Receive a payment receipt

Once your assessment charge is paid and receipt has been issued, you are permitted to submit your fire safety application or request.
The CPP will accept various payment methods including by card (credit or debit), BPAY, PayID, and Google/Apple Pay. Payment by bank transfer will not be available using the CPP.
