Kitchen Fire - Kingswood

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Penrith and St Marys are currently attending to a call out for a kitchen fire with resident that is suffering oil burns from cooking.

Unit is currently filled with smoke, resident was able to escape to a neighbouring property awaiting assistance from Fire crews.

UPDATE 7:40pm

Fire has been extinguished, minor damage to kitchen due to the quick actions of firefighters.

30 year old female patient is being treated by firefighters on scene as they await an ambulance to treat the injured lady who has burns to hands.
