Cliff Rescue - Stranded Rock Climber - Phegans Bay

Shortly before 4:30pm, 10 October, Fire and Rescue NSW crews responded to Olive Avenue, Phegans Bay after a rock climber became stranded on a cliff face.
Crews from Kariong and Gosford Fire Stations arrived to find a young male rock climber stranded on a cliff ledge, approximately ten metres down.
Firefighters set up a life rescue rope system to access the stranded rock climber, and lowered him to a safe location where he was able to walk out uninjured.
NSW Police were also on scene assisting.
