Faithful Dog Escorts Owner's Rescue - Wimbie Beach

Earlier today, Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews from Moruya and Batemans Bay Fire Station's assisted in rescuing a woman who had fallen on a walking track near Wimbie Beach on the NSW South Coast.
FRNSW worked with NSW Ambulance, NSW Police and the NSW RFS to locate the patient 300 metres down an escarpment near the beach.
Crews stabilised and safely transported the patient to an awaiting ambulance.
The rescue effort took place under the watchful eye of Toby, the patient's beloved dog.
