House Fire - Mount Austin

Fire and Rescue NSW calls received a Triple Zero (000) call just before 11am alerting them to a house fire on Meads Pl, Mount Austin.
Upon arrival crews noticed large amounts of smoke issuing from the home. Firefighters were able to enter the home and quickly contain the fire which is believed to have started in the kitchen.
As a result of the fire one male occupant has received burns to his arms, he is currently being treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
