Plane Crash - Cromer

Just before 4:30pm Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Dee Why and Narrabeen Fire Stations responded to reports of a light aircraft crash at Cromer Park in Cromer.

On arrival, firefighters found two persons injured and a fuel spill coming from the aircraft.

Firefighters provided initial first aid to the pilot and the passenger before transferring them into the care of paramedics. Crews worked to clear the fuel spill from entering nearby waterways and rendered the area safe.

Both patients were transported to hospital via NSW Ambulance for further treatment.
