Nana Glen Goods Train Derailment - Nana Glen
Published: 27 Feb 2021 04:00pm
Fire and Rescue NSW has completed its operations at the site of the goods train derailment in Nana Glen on the state’s Mid North Coast.
Over the past three days, FRNSW specialist HAZMAT crews from Sydney, Newcastle and Coffs Harbour, along with local FRNSW firefighters and Coramba RFS, worked tirelessly to make the area safe. FRNSW also worked closely with the NSW Environment Protection Authority and NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service to minimise any environmental impacts on the area.
The site has now been handed back to the rail operator, Australian Rail and Track Corporation.
