House Fire - Belfield

Just after 10.45am this morning Fire and Rescue NSW received numerous Triple Zero calls (000) following reports of a house fire on Bruce Ave, Belfield.

Upon arrival crews noticed a large amount of black smoke issuing from the rear carport of the house and got to work to extinguish the blaze.

Firefighters managed to stop the fire from spreading to nearby properties however the carport was destroyed.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are still ongoing.
