Car into Building - Largs

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews have assisted in the rescue of two people after a four wheel drive crashed into a house yesterday at Largs in Maitland.
It's believed the male driver of the Toyota Landcruiser suffered a heart attack and careered into the weatherboard home in High Street around 3pm.
The driver and a man inside the home were injured in the crash.
NSW Ambulance paramedics stabilised both patients and applied a defibrillator to the driver as firefighters safeguarded the scene.
Both men were safely extricated and transported to a nearby medevac helicopter for hospitalisation.
A female inside the house was also medically assessed and escaped serious harm.
An exclusion zone was established around the site, pending a further safety inspection.
Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said this is a timely reminder that calling Triple Zero (000) when you are involved in or see a crash can be the difference between life and death.
The Triple Zero (000) service is the quickest way to get the right resources from emergency services to help you. It should be used to contact Police, Fire or Ambulance services in life-threatening or time-critical situations.
