Two-level house fire - Mosman
Published: 06 Apr 2022 03:57pm
Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) is working to contain and extinguish a fire that has torn through the roof of a two-level house on Raglan Street in Mosman.
More than 20 firefighters are battling the blaze both within and outside the property after crews were alerted to the fire just before 2.30pm today.
A high-reaching ladder platform firetruck was also used by FRNSW crews to access the roof from above the property.
There were no reported injuries.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said this is a timely reminder that calling Triple Zero (000) for a fire emergency can be the difference between life and death, or a building or other property being saved or destroyed.
The Triple Zero (000) service is the quickest way to get the right resources from emergency services to help you. It should be used to contact Police, Fire or Ambulance services in life-threatening or time-critical situations.
