House Fire - Video - Argenton

Fire has severely damaged a house at Argenton at Lake Macquarie this morning, resulting in one occupant collapsing and being transported to hospital.
Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews were alerted to reports of the house fire just before 8am.
Firefighters arrived to find the home well alight and a man collapsed outside.
A firefighter worked with a nurse to deliver CPR until NSW Ambulance Paramedics arrived.
The man was transported to hospital.
Firefighters contained and extinguished the fire within one hour.
The cause of the fire is being determined.

Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said this is a timely reminder that calling Triple Zero (000) for a fire emergency can be the difference between life and death, or a building or other property being saved or destroyed.
