Just before 8 pm last night, Fire and Rescue NSW received numerous calls to a shopfront fire within the QVB Building on York St, Sydney.
Firefighters arrived within four minutes of the initial call and found a shop on fire.
Shortly after, firefighters had hose lines directed onto the fire and prevented it from spreading into the neighbouring stores.
Firefighters remained for a short time and handed the scene over to building management and NSW Police.
