House Fire - Moree
Published: 21 Jul 2021 05:03am
Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) fought for nearly three hours to control a house fire on Anne Street, Moree this morning.
Crews from Moree, with support from the NSW Rural Fire Service, arrived on scene to find the single level house well alight.
The vacant house was completely destroyed by the fire. However, firefighters were able stop the fire from spreading to neighbouring properties.
NSW Police and NSW Ambulance were also in attendance.
Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said this is a timely reminder that calling Triple Zero (000) for an emergency can be the difference between life and death.
The Triple Zero (000) service is the quickest way to get the right resources from emergency services to help you. It should be used to contact Police, Fire or Ambulance services in life-threatening or time-critical situations.
