Truck Fire - Glenugie

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) extinguished a fire in a truck carrying a load of firewood on the Pacific Highway at Glenugie in the Clarence Valley late yesterday afternoon.
The truck was well alight when crews arrived on scene. Firefighters applied a foam blanket over the truck to extinguish the fire.
FRNSW Hazmat crews decanted diesel from the truck into special recovery bins.
No one was injured in the fire.
NSW Police, NSW Ambulance, Roads Maritime Services (RMS) and NSW Rural Fire Service were all in attendance.
