Car crash - Leichhardt

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) safely removed a person trapped in a vehicle following a crash involving two cars on City West Link Road, Leichhardt this morning.
FRNSW was called to the scene at 10.07am. Utilising specialist rescue equipment, rescuers removed the side door of the vehicle to remove the trapped person who was then taken to hospital by NSW Ambulance.
There were significant delays to traffic as a result of the crash.
