Animal Rescue - Kilcare

Just before 3pm yesterday, Sunday 7 March, Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) received a call to assist in retrieving a pet Black Cockatoo who had become stuck in a tree.
On arrival firefighters found the black cockatoo around 20 meters up in a tree. Crews were able to use our 24 meter aerial ladder platform to safely reach the cockatoo, named Sam and bring him back down to his happy owners.
