Building site rescue - Lidcombe

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) rescued a man who had fallen into a pit at a rail maintenance centre in Lidcombe today.
FRNSW received a Triple Zero (000) call at 1:21pm reporting a man had fallen two metres into a maintenance pit and sustained serious leg injuries.
A rescue crew from Burwood Fire Station helped stabilise the man and safely removed him from the pit so he could be transported to hospital by NSW Ambulance for treatment.
