Bush fire, house damaged - Northmead

Just before 1pm this afternoon Fire and Rescue NSW crews responded to reports of Bush alight with multiple houses under threat at Moir Avenue, Northmead.

More than ten fire trucks worked to protect homes in the area from a fast moving bush fire being fanned by strong winds.

Crews arrived on scene and setup property protection.

A number of homes caught alight from ember attack.

NSW Police, NSW Rural Fire Service and NSW Ambulance were in attendance.
