Truck Fire - Goulburn

Just before 5pm this afternoon, Fire and Rescue NSW were called to an incident on Hume Street, Goulburn after receiving multiple Triple Zero (000) calls reporting a truck fire.
Upon arrival, crews from Goulburn Fire Station confirmed a semi-trailer loaded with timber logs was engulfed in smoke and flames.
Firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Rural Fire Service worked for over one hour to extinguish the blaze and were able to contain the fire to the trailer.
NSW Ambulance were in attendance, however the truck driver was uninjured.
NSW police closed Hume Street in both directions, between Hume Highway and Ducks Lane. As a result, traffic was heavily impacted in the area for for several hours.
