Car Crash - Thumb Creek

Just before 8:30am, Fire and Rescue NSW were alerted to a motor vehicle crash on Taylors Arm Road, Thumb Creek, with reports a person was trapped.
Bowraville Fire Station arrived on scene to find a car had rolled down an embankment, pinning a person against a tree.
NSW Ambulance were able to treat the patient on scene while firefighters worked to extricate them.
In an intricate rescue which required the vehicle to be secured and stabilised, crews worked for almost an hour to safely free the person who was transported to hospital via helicopter.
Crews rendered the scene safe and removed all hazards.
NSW Police and the Rural Fire Service were also in attendance.
