Rabbit Rescue - Carlingford

Just after 3:30pm, 16 September, Fire and Rescue NSW received a call from a distressed owner reporting their pet rabbit had fallen from a unit balcony on Boundary Road, Carlingford.
Firefighters from Eastwood Fire Station arrived soon after and located the rabbit, named Cookie, on a second story balcony after falling from two floors above.
Crews used an extension ladder to access the balcony and safely rescued Cookie, reuniting him with his very happy owner.
Luckily, Cookie did not to sustain any injuries in the ordeal.
