House Fire - Airds

Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Campbelltown and Rosemeadow Fire Stations were called to a property on Greengate Road, Airds shortly before 11:30am after numerous Triple Zero (000) calls were received reporting a house fire.
Crews arrived on scene to find smoke issuing from a single level townhouse and gained entry to begin attacking the fire.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze at approximately 12:10pm, and the fire was contained to the townhouse of origin.
All occupants self evacuated prior to the arrival of crews.
NSW Ambulance treated one adult male and and one small child for smoke inhalation at the scene. They were then airlifted to hospital.
NSW Police are also in attendance.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
