House fire - Ingleside

At approximately 9:45pm tonight Fire and Rescue NSW are responding to reports of a House alight in Cicada Glen Rd Ingleside.
A frantic triple zero (000) call alerted authorities about the blaze.
Fire crews from Mona Vale along with local Rural Fire Service crews are on scene and reporting a Fire from a Fireplace has spread into the roof space of the home.
Firefighting operations are underway.
UPDATE 6:30am
Fire was extinguished after it took hold of the second story of the property.
Multiple Fire and Rescue NSW and Rural Fire Crews were required to bring the blaze under control.
One person was transported by Ambulance with smoke inhalation.
Superintendent Adam Dewberry from Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) said FRNSW is attending numerous house fires and that it was a timely reminder for residents to develop their fire escape plan.
"Now is the time for residents to check they have a working smoke alarm and that all members of the family have an awareness of calling Triple Zero (000) in an emergency," he said.
