House Fire - Narara

Fire and Rescue NSW crews are currently responding to reports of a house fire on Tanunda Cl, Narara.
Just before 1pm today emergency services received numerous Triple Zero (000) calls reporting large amounts of smoke coming from the home.
Upon arrival crews found the house well alight and began firefighting operations. Initial reports suggest all occupants of the home have managed to evacuate.
A total of eight trucks have been called to the incident from a range of Fire Stations on the Central Coast. Firefighters managed to stop the fire spreading to nearby homes however 60 per cent of the affected home was damaged.
Fire and Rescue NSW would like to thank the local community for notifying Triple Zero (000) operators of this incident. We received an overwhelming amount of calls and were able to increase our response based on this.
Fire investigators are still determining the cause of the fire, however the fire is believed to have started in the living room.
