Attendance Request

Important: This form is only used to request Fire and Rescue NSW attendance at community events ahead of time. It is not used to request attendance in case of an emergency.

Please request our attendance using this form. Any attendance is subject to the operational needs of the community which is our first priority.

Please note that if we are attending an event, we are not providing fire protection by default.

School visits

If your request is relating to fire safety education programs for school programs, please visit brigadekids.com/teacher-resources/ for teacher resources. Otherwise, please continue.

Commercial events

Major or special events may include sporting and entertainment events, and other events where spectators, participants or general members of the public assemble. These events require FRNSW attendance to maintain safety while a commercial activity is conducted.

Major and special events may include, but are not limited to:

  • Music events/festivals
  • Motor racing
  • Air shows
  • Operational events (e.g. hot refuelling protection)
  • Agricultural shows (e.g. Royal Easter Show)
  • Major sporting events, and
  • Film and stage events.

Below is a list of the types of events FRNSW may not charge or where charging is at the discretion of the Commissioner:

  • Community engagement events
  • ANZAC Day
  • Not for profit events
