Grass fire in Bellambi

Firefighters from Corrimal, Bulli, Thirroul, Coledale, Balgownie and the Duty Commander were called to a grass fire near Bott Drive, Bellambi this morning. Numerous Triple Zero (000) calls were received reporting the fire which was burning in an area that was difficult to access. Firefighters were on scene through out the night ensuring that the fire was contained and no property threatened. Approximately eight hectares of bush was burnt out in the fire.
