House fire, Bowral

In the early evening firefighters were called to a house fire in Wingecarribee St, Bowral. Units from Bowral, Mittagong, Mossvale and the Duty Commander from Goulburn attended. Firefighters arrived within twelve minutes to find a house approximately 25m X 10m well alight. They were also hampered by poor water supply and so the Officer- in-Charge called for the bulk water carrier from the Rural Fire Service. There were no-one in the house and the fire was brought under control and extinguished within an hour and a half.
