House fire in Baulkham Hills

Numerous Triple Zero (000) calls were received this evening to a house on fire in Merindah Road, Baulkham Hills. Firefighters from Castle Hill, Seven Hills and Northmead attended the incident. On arrival fire crews found an unoccupied two storey house on fire and used several fire hoses to extinguish the blaze. The top level was destroyed in the fire with the ground floor also suffering damage. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
