House Fire, Oyster Bay

In the early hours of the morning (2.15am) the NSW Fire Brigades received numerous 000 calls to a 'house fire' in Green point Road, Oyster bay. Firefighters from Sutherland, Menai, Cronulla and Miranda Stations attended. On arrival Firefighters found a fire in a converted fisherman's cottage. The cottage was located in a largely inaccessible area and is usually accessed by water, however the tide was out meaning water access was not possible. Firefighters had to resort to climbing down steep, rugged terrain to access and fight the fire.
