Domestic garage fire in Minto

Firefighters from St Andrews and Campbelltown were called to a domestic garage that was on fire in Harding Place at Minto early this morning. Quick actions by fire crews prevented the fire from spreading to the adjoining house and the fire was extinguished in less than one hour. The garage was extensively damaged with the house suffering some heat and smoke damage. One person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by ambulance officers.
