Ingleburn house blaze
Published: 30th June 2007
Firefighters from Ingleburn, St Andrews, Macquarie Fields, Campbelltown and Liverpool responded to a house on fire in Ingleburn. Numerous early morning Triple Zero (000) calls were received and the first fire crews at the scene found a fire on the upper level of a two storey house. Firefighters carried out a search of the house, which showed the occupants were not inside, while other fire crews extinguished the blaze. Clean up work was completed to minimise further damage. One person was treated for smoke inhalation and taken to hospital. The room in which the fire started was extensively damaged and the remainder of the housed saved from fire damage.
