Car accident in Mt Druitt

Firefighters from Mt Druitt and rescue firefighters from Dunheved responded to a car accident in Durham Street, Mt Druitt this evening. Fire crews arrived in four minutes to find a single vehicle had crashed into a power pole and two occupants were trapped. Rescue firefighters extricated both people in 35 minutes and they were taken to hospital by ambulance officers.
