Car fire in Lismore

In the early hours of this morning firefighters from Lismore and Goonellabah responded to a fire in a carpark underneath offices in Zadoc Street, Lismore. Fire crews were at the scene in nine minutes to discover a car ablaze in an open carpark with offices above. The fire was quickly extinguished and the offices searched and ventilated. One car was destroyed with another car also suffering fire damage. Several police officers were treated for smoke inhalation. Investigations are continuing into the cause of the fire.
