Mobile home fire in Tweed Heads

Firefighters from Tweed Heads responded to a fire in a mobile home in the early hours of this morning in Dry Dock Road, Tweed Heads. Fire crews were on scene in three minutes to find smoke coming from the mobile home. Crews immediately entered and commenced a search while starting to extinguish the fire. Firefighters discovered a female still inside the property and brought her outside and commenced first aid until ambulance paramedics arrived. Tragically the person did not survive the fire. Initial investigations show that at this stage there is nothing suspicious about the fire. Further investigations are continuing.
