Bomaderry house fire

Numerous Triple Zero (000) calls were received this afternoon to a house on fire in West Birriley Street at Bomaderry. Firefighters from Nowra, Berry and Shellharbour responded to the fire with the first crews on scene in 10 minutes. The single level house was completely engulfed in fire and eight occupants had evacuated. Fire crews extinguished the blaze but the house suffered extensive damage.
