Helicopter crash at Arcadia

This afternoon firefighters from Castle Hill were called to a helicopter crash in Cobah Road at Arcadia. On arrival firefighters found that all of the occupants had got out of the downed helicopter. The fire crew assisted ambulance officers with five casualties and laid a foam blanket over approximately 300 litres of spilt aviation fuel to prevent ignition. The casualties were taken to hospital in medical helicopters. Rural Fire Service firefighters assisted with the clean up.
