At 11 am this morning Firefighters from Bonneyrigg Heights, Busby and Cabramatta were called to a house fire in Walsh Close, Edensor Park. The Busby firefighters were first to arrive and found a house engulfed in smoke with fire coming from its windows and endangering neighbouring properties. The crew immediately called for back up and crews from Fairfield and Smithfield were also responded to the address. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the house to combat and extinguish the fire and perform a search of the house to ensure nobody was inside. Thankfully nobody was inside and there were no injuries. The house suffered extensive damage.
