Petrol Bowser knocked over, Forster

At 4.40 pm this afternoon, Firefighters from Forster were called to a service station in Forster, where a petrol bowser had been knocked over. On arrival, firefighters set up hose lines to protect surrounding properties in the event of fire, and set up an exclusion zone around the site. This included evacuating 42 people from nearby buildings. A specialist service technician was called to isolate the petrol bowser, while firefighters cleaned the fuel spill and made the area safe.
