Multiple vehicle accident in Sydney south

Two trucks and 10 cars were involved in a major accident on Heathcote Road near Lucas Heights this afternoon. Fire crews from Engadine, Sutherland and Liverpool along with ambulance officers helped extricate numerous people from the damaged vehicles. A total of 10 people were transported to hospital and the clean up of the scene took several hours.
