Singleton Heights house fire

This evening fire crews from Singleton, Branxton Greta and Maitland responded to a house on fire in Watts Close in Singleton. The first arriving fire crews found smoke pouring from the two storey house and entered wearing breathing apparatus carrying a fire hose. Firefighters discovered the fire involved a car inside the garage and the blaze was spreading to the rest of the house. Fire crews stopped the fire spread and saved the remainder of the home. The motor vehicle and garage suffered extensive damage.
