Domestic garage on fire at Campbelltown

At around midday numerous Triple Zero (000) calls were received to a domestic garage on fire in Warby Street at Campbelltown. Firefighters from Campbelltown, Rosemeadow and Huntingwood were quickly on scene to find the garage on fire and neighbouring houses under threat from the flames. Fire crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used fire hoses to reduce the fire intensity, saving the adjoining houses. The fire was extinguished but the garage suffered extensive damage.
