House fire in Belmore

Firefighters from Lakemba, Campsie and Burwood were called to a house fire in Belmore at 11:12 pm Tuesday. On arrival crews found the three bedroom brick and tile building well alight. The fire was extinguished at around 1:00 am. One person was transported to hospital by ambulance. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
