Fire and Rescue NSW set to hop into the 2022 Sydney Royal Easter Show
Published: 28th March 2022
Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) is getting ready to hop into the 2022 Sydney Royal Easter Show.
From Friday 8 April until Tuesday 19 April, our firefighters will be at Olympic Park with a variety of ‘egg-citing’ displays and demonstrations.
These include fire trucks, a kitchen fire simulation, kid’s activities, merchandise from The Museum of Fire and even a number of visits from our fire investigation dogs.
Our firefighters will also be on the ground providing vital home fire safety and prevention tips.
FRNSW Commissioner Paul Baxter said firefighters were looking forward to talking with show visitors about the importance of home fire safety.
“I encourage everyone to hop over to the FRNSW display and have a chat with us about how to keep you and your loved ones fire safe, especially as we head into the cooler months,” he said.
“One of FRNSW’s core roles is to help keep our communities safe, and our displays and demonstrations are geared towards educating show visitors on the simple steps they can take to protect the irreplaceable.”
Whilst at the show, come visit the FRNSW display, located in The Paddock, on the left as you walk through the Main Entry.
