Factory Fire at Condell Park
Published: 8th November 2009
Firefighters from Revesby and Bankstown responded to a factory fire at Edgar St, Condell Park early this morning. On arrival, the crew from Revesby saw a large amount of smoke billowing from a factory and immediately called for the assistance of another eight fire engines. When the crew from Bankstown arrived two minutes later flames were already leaping from the building and the firefighters set up their hoses to prevent the fire spreading to the surrounding factory units. The fire was extinguished after 2 ½ hours of intensive firefighting with some neighbouring factory units sustaining minor damage.
